Calendly Alternative With a CRM and WhatsApp, From $39
· 9 min read · Webinly team
Calendly does one job well: a link, a calendar, a booked slot. The trouble is everything around it. The person who booked also watched your webinar and filled in your form, and none of that is on the booking. You pay per seat, reminders start on the paid tier, and after the call the lead goes back to a spreadsheet or a second tool.
This page puts Calendly's own numbers next to what Webinly's booking pages do for the same job: slots, buffers, Google Calendar sync, a form that can take the payment and then book the call, and a booking that lands on the contact record with the webinar history and a deal card. It also says plainly what Webinly's scheduling does not do.
What is the best Calendly alternative for coaches and webinar hosts?
The best Calendly alternative for a coach or webinar host is a booking page that lives in the same account as the webinar, the form and the CRM, so the call is one step in the funnel instead of a tool on its own.
Webinly includes booking pages on every plan from $39 a month, priced per account rather than per seat, with Google Calendar sync, email reminders, a form that can take a payment and then book the call, and a booking that lands on the contact record and the deal board. Calendly, read on 25 October 2026, charges $10 a seat a month on Standard and $16 on Teams, billed annually, and its free plan has one event type.
The rest of this page is the detail: each Calendly tier, where the booking goes afterwards, what Webinly's booking pages do and do not do, and the price at your size.
What Calendly charges, and what each tier adds
Calendly's pricing page lists four plans. Free has one event type, one calendar connection, one-on-one scheduling, a booking page and a browser extension. Standard is $10 a seat a month billed annually (the page says 'Save 17%'), or about $12 billed monthly according to secondary sources, and adds unlimited event types, six calendar connections, group events, automated reminders, Stripe and PayPal payments, HubSpot and Mailchimp.
Teams is $16 a seat a month billed annually ('Save 20%'), about $20 monthly, and adds round robin, routing forms, lead qualification and Salesforce. Enterprise starts at $15,000 a year with a minimum of 50 seats. Two rules shape the bill: every price is per seat, so a team of four on Teams is 4 x $16, and automated reminders start on Standard. WhatsApp is not mentioned anywhere on the page.

How a booked call works in Webinly
Webinly Scheduling sits in the same account as your webinars, forms and contacts. Each booking page is an event type with its own link: a name, a length, where the call happens, and its own rules on top of your weekly hours: date overrides, a minimum notice (1 hour by default), how far ahead it shows times (60 days), buffers before and after, and a cap on calls per day, week or month.
Connect Google Calendar and choose which calendars count as busy and which one receives bookings; busy times disappear from the page, and each booking, reschedule and cancellation is written back. The visitor sees times in their own time zone, and the slot they pick is held for a few minutes while they fill in the form. They get a confirmation with add-to-calendar links, reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before, change notices and, after a no-show, up to three nudges over two days.
Then the part Calendly's pricing page has no row for. When someone books with the email they registered with, the booking lands on the same contact record as their registration and viewing history, they become a Hot lead, and the call appears as a deal on your CRM board. When it is time to talk, press Call on the deal card: the call runs in your browser with a three-line brief of what that person did first, on your own SIP line or a calling plan, and every call sits in one log.
Can a form take the payment and then book the call?
Yes. Webinly Forms asks one question per screen, scores the answers and sends each score band to its own ending. An ending can show a thank-you, open your booking page with the person's name and email filled in, take a payment on your own Stripe or Tap account for an amount you set, or register them for a webinar. Once a payment clears, the next stop can be the booking page, so a paid strategy call, or a small deposit against no-shows, is one flow.
The forms page gives the rule: a fixed-price product ends in payment in full, a paid session in payment then the booking page, an offer that needs a conversation in a call with no payment. A form payment is one fixed-price item in one charge: no subscriptions, instalments or quantities. Forms are on every plan, Starter included.
Does Webinly send WhatsApp reminders?
For the webinar, yes. You connect your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta's sign-up window; the number stays yours and Meta bills the messages. Then the registration confirmation, the reminders before the start, the join link, the recording and a nudge to people who did not attend can go on WhatsApp instead of only email, and replies come back into Webinly. WhatsApp reminders, inbox and campaigns are included on every plan, and the plain WhatsApp chat button for your website is free on all of them.
For the booked call itself, no. The scheduling page is plain that booking reminders are email only, and Webinly has no SMS at all. You can start an automation when someone books a call and have a step send a WhatsApp message, which needs a template Meta approved, a phone number with its country code on the contact and, for anything promotional, their opt-in. Stop words, storage and consent are on the WhatsApp page.
Move your booking link from Calendly in an hour
There is no Calendly import: Webinly does not copy Calendly event types, and bookings made on an old Calendly link never reach your Webinly contacts. The move is a rebuild, and for most coaches that is one or two pages.
- 1Set your weekly hours on the Availability tab and block the days you are away. Skip this and Webinly adds Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 in your account's time zone.
- 2Connect Google Calendar on the Calendars tab: tick the calendars that block time and pick the one that receives bookings.
- 3Create one booking page per kind of call: a clear name, its length, where it happens and two sentences on who it is for. Copy the notice, buffers and how far ahead from your Calendly event type.
- 4Open the Emails button on the booking page, rewrite or switch off the pre-call email, and send yourself a test of each.
- 5Replace the Calendly link everywhere: an inline calendar, floating button or plain link on your website, the Calendar block on a registration page, or a form ending so name and email arrive filled in. Then switch the old link off.
- 6From a private browser window, book, move and cancel a test call, checking your calendar, the emails, the contact record and the deal card each time.
Who should stay on Calendly, and what it costs at your size
Stay on Calendly if your calendar is Outlook or Apple: Webinly syncs Google Calendar only. Stay if several people share incoming calls round robin, or your routing forms and Salesforce handoff are built on Calendly Teams; Webinly's scheduling page does not claim those. And every Webinly booking page carries a small 'Scheduling powered by Webinly' line under the form, on every plan.
Move if the call is the last step of a webinar or a form and you want one record per person. The price is then per account, not per seat, and co-hosts are included. A solo coach pays $39 a month on Starter ($390 a year) for booking pages, one automated webinar at a time, forms, the CRM, automations and WhatsApp reminders; live broadcasting starts on Pro at $159 a month ($1,590 a year), which includes 3 people on the team, extra people $19 a month each. Three Calendly seats are $360 a year on Standard or $576 on Teams, for the booking alone. Every limit is on the pricing page; the full ladder is in Calendly pricing 2026.
Frequently asked
Is there a free Calendly alternative?
Not Webinly. Calendly's own free plan exists, with one event type, one calendar connection and no reminders listed. Webinly has no free tier: your first plan is $1 for the first 7 days, then $39 a month on Starter, and booking pages are included from that plan, next to the webinar, forms and CRM.
Does Webinly send WhatsApp reminders for calls?
No. Booking reminders go by email, 24 hours and 1 hour before the call, and Webinly has no SMS. WhatsApp carries the webinar messages once you connect your own number: confirmation, reminders before the start, the join link, the recording and a no-show nudge. An automation that starts when someone books can also send a Meta-approved WhatsApp template.
Can a form book the call?
Yes. A Webinly form scores the answers and sends each band to its own ending, and one ending opens your booking page with the person's name and email filled in. Another takes a payment on your own Stripe or Tap account first and then opens the booking page, which is how a paid session or a deposit works.
Is Webinly priced per seat?
No. The price is per account: Starter $39 a month, Pro $159, Scale $349, each with booking pages included. Co-hosts are included and do not cost extra. Starter is one login; Pro includes 3 people on the team and Scale 10, with extra people $19 a month each. Calendly charges every paid tier per seat.
Can clients pay before the call?
Yes, through a form ending. Set the ending to take the payment, a full price or a deposit, on your connected Stripe or Tap account; once it clears, the person goes on to your booking page with name and email filled in. A form payment sells one fixed-price item in one charge: no subscriptions, instalments or quantities.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
Yes, and only Google Calendar. You choose which of your calendars count as busy and which one receives new bookings; busy times vanish from the page, a reschedule updates the entry and a cancellation removes it. Outlook and Apple calendars cannot be connected, although the person booking can still add the call to their calendar from their confirmation.
Put a booking page behind your next webinar and let the call land on the same record as everything else that person did. Your first plan is $1 today and the plan price 7 days later, cancel any time.
