Webinar Attendance Calculator

How many of your registrants will actually show up live? Plug in your numbers — industry-benchmark math runs in the browser, no email required.

Predicted show-up rate

Live attendees

With a tighter reminder + a warmer source you could move from 210 to 242 live attendees — a 15.0% lift, ceiling. See the methodology section for how each multiplier is derived.

How the math works

The calculator combines four well-documented industry signals into a single show-up rate prediction. Every multiplier is listed so you can sanity-check against your own historical numbers.

Base rate by webinar type

  • Live: 40% (industry average across Demio, GoToWebinar, ON24 reports)
  • Automated / evergreen: 30%
  • On-demand replay: 20%

Reminder cadence multiplier

  • None: × 0.65
  • 24h only: × 0.85
  • 24h + 1h: × 1.0 (baseline)
  • 24h + 1h + 5min: × 1.10

Lead source multiplier

  • Cold paid ads: × 0.80
  • Affiliate traffic: × 0.90
  • Email list (existing): × 1.05
  • Organic search / referral: × 1.10

Pitch-reach assumption

Roughly 60% of live attendees stay until the offer pitch (typical mid-webinar drop-off rate). The calculator surfaces both numbers so you can plan offer-conversion math against the realistic count, not the registration count.

Results are estimates. Your actual numbers depend on the relationship you have with your list, your topic-to-offer fit, and a dozen other things. Use this as a planning starting point.
