Quick reference for setting up automated and live webinars on Webinly. Need a deeper dive? contact@webinly.com

Getting started

  • Email + password or Google OAuth. You'll pick a plan to finish setting up your account.

  • Where every webinar lives. Sort by newest, registrants, or attendees.

Automated webinars

  • Upload a video

Two ways: drop the file straight into the wizard's Set up the broadcast step when you create the webinar, or upload it ahead of time on /dashboard/media and pick it from the library when the wizard prompts. MP4, MOV, or WebM up to 10 GB.

  • Schedule playback

Pick a fixed date or use Just-In-Time (every new registrant gets their own start time, N minutes after they sign up). Both options live in the wizard's What's the webinar step.

  • Customize the registration page

The wizard's Build your page step. Drag-and-drop the cinematic template via the Puck editor, start blank, or describe your webinar and let the AI Creator draft the page for you.

Live broadcasts

  • Open the control room

From the dashboard, open the live webinar's detail page and click Open control room. Mic + camera test, then Join when you're ready. Attendees see what's in your tile.

  • Recording

Toggle 'Record this broadcast' in the wizard's Set up the broadcast step before publishing. After you click Leave, the MP4 lands in storage and the replay plays at /w/<slug>/live.

  • Co-hosts

Invite additional presenters via magic link from the wizard's Cohorts step. They join with the same camera + mic + screen-share controls you have.

  • Throws

While live, click Throw on any pre-configured offer / poll / handout to inject it into chat with a duration. Polls auto-close at the duration; handouts can be pinned.

Email automations

  • Confirmations + reminders

Sent automatically on register, then 1d / 1h / 5min before the scheduled time. Customize subject + body per webinar in the wizard's Emails step.

  • Replays

Attended-vs-no-show emails fire after the webinar end-time. Replay link is rid+sig-signed so it survives forwarding.

API + integrations

  • Create scoped tokens for the public REST API. Use cases: pull registrations into your CRM, register attendees from your own form, build custom dashboards on top of attendance + analytics.
