Typeform Alternative With Payments, Booking and a CRM: $39
· 8 min read · Webinly team
Typeform bills by the response, not by the form. Read on 25 October 2026, its Basic plan is $39 a month for 100 responses across all your forms, and secondary sources say that past the cap the form stops collecting until the month resets or you upgrade. A webinar host can collect 100 sign-ups in a good week, so the cap, not the editor, sends people looking for a Typeform alternative.
This page puts Typeform's ladder next to Webinly Forms: what each caps, what a form can do at its end (a payment, a booked call, a webinar registration), where the answers land, and how to rebuild a form in an afternoon. What Webinly does not do, import Typeform forms or hide its badge on the cheapest plan, is said plainly.
What is the best Typeform alternative for a webinar host?
For a host who collects hundreds of registrations a month and wants the form to take a payment or book a call, Webinly Forms is the Typeform alternative to look at first: it comes with every Webinly plan from $39 a month, has branching and scoring, and its plan table lists no response cap.
The trade is that Webinly is a webinar platform with a form builder inside it, so the $39 also carries a registration page, reminder emails, a replay, a checkout and a CRM. If all you need is a short survey with a handful of answers a month, Typeform's Free plan still does that job.
Typeform's ladder, from its pricing page: Free, a limited number of responses a month (about 10, by secondary sources), one user, Typeform branding. Basic, $39 a month or $28 billed yearly, 100 responses, one user. Plus, $79 or $56 yearly, 1,000 responses, three users, branding removed. Business, $129 or $91 yearly, 10,000 responses, five users. Growth Flow, $379, adds Salesforce and email and SMS follow-ups; Enterprise is a custom price with SSO and custom domains.
Every form on the account draws from one monthly count, so a registration form and a survey share the 100 or 1,000. Webinly Forms is priced the other way round: the plan is set by webinars and live viewers, and the form rides along.
Typeform vs Webinly Forms, side by side
Nine things a webinar host asks for, each tool's own answer from its public pages; where a page says nothing, the cell says so.
| What you need | Typeform | Webinly |
|---|---|---|
| Responses a month | Free: limited (about 10, secondary sources). Basic 100, Plus 1,000, Business 10,000; shared across all forms, reset monthly | No response cap in the plan table; registrants unlimited |
| Price at 1,000 responses a month | Plus: $79 a month, or $56 billed yearly | Starter: $39 a month, or $32.50 billed yearly, forms included |
| Payment inside the form | A Stripe payment question exists; the page does not say which plan includes it | An ending takes a payment on Stripe or Tap into your own account |
| Book a call from the form | Not on the pricing page | An ending opens your booking page with name and email filled in |
| WhatsApp follow-up | Email and SMS follow-ups on Growth Flow, $379; WhatsApp not listed | Reminders, inbox and campaigns on every plan once your number is connected; no SMS |
| CRM record | Webhooks and integrations from Basic; Salesforce on Growth Flow | Every response with an email becomes a contact with scores, a stage and segments |
| Branding | Typeform branding on Free and Basic; removed from Plus, $79 | Webinly badge on Starter; removed on Pro, $159 |
| Custom domain | Enterprise, custom price; a custom subdomain from Plus | Pro and Scale |
| People who log in | 1 on Free and Basic, 3 on Plus, 5 on Business | Just you on Starter, 3 on Pro, 10 on Scale, extra people $19 a month; per account, not per seat, co-hosts included |
What the form builder and its endings do
The builder is the same on every plan, Starter included. Four modes (Universal and Lead qualification for one ending, Knowledge quiz and Match quiz for several), one question per screen, and question types from a contact block and picture choice to file upload, signature, a recorded video answer and a partial-submit point, so anyone who quits later is still a contact. A form written in Arabic runs right to left. Logic can jump, end the form or route to an ending, a condition can read a parameter in the link, and scoring is recalculated on the server; each form has its own link and embeds inline or opens from a button in a pop-up.
The ending is where the money is. Each ending can tag the contact, then show a thank-you, open your booking page with name and email filled in, take a payment, send the person to a replay, register them for a webinar, or open a link with their details. The payment runs on your own Stripe or Tap account, for an amount you set or a saved offer's price, and once it clears the person can land on your booking page: a deposit, then the call.
Two limits: a form payment is one fixed-price item, one charge at a time, with no subscriptions or instalments, and payment and booking come after the last question, not inside it. Every plan and add-on is on the pricing page.
Where the answers go: every response is a contact
A form with an email question, or a contact block with Map to contacts switched on, creates or updates a contact. The response is saved on it, mapped answers update its fields, and the visit's UTM source is kept. The submission sits on the timeline next to their webinar activity and live lead scores, and the webinar CRM sorts contacts by score, so your follow-up starts at the top.
A submission can also start an automation: wait, branch on scores, stage, tags or behaviour, send an email or a WhatsApp message, alert you, tag or move them. WhatsApp needs your number connected through Meta's own window, a template Meta has approved, a phone number with its country code and, for promotional messages, an opt-in; a missing one skips the step and logs it. There is no SMS.
One honest edge: no email, no contact. Such a form still saves responses and emails you each, but tags nobody and cannot follow up.
How to move a Typeform form to Webinly in an afternoon
There is no Typeform importer, so a form is rebuilt rather than copied. Five to eight questions take an afternoon, mostly the ending.
- 1Pick the mode first: Universal or Lead qualification for one ending, Knowledge quiz when scores should land on different endings, Match quiz for a result-per-answer quiz. It is set before endings are added.
- 2Rebuild the questions, one per screen, with the contact block early and a partial-submit point right after it, so anyone who quits later is still a contact.
- 3Add the logic and the points: jump rules, points per choice, and a score range on each ending.
- 4Build the ending: connect Stripe or Tap under Settings, Payments for a paid ending, or create an event type in Scheduling, with Google Calendar connected, for a call.
- 5Bring past respondents in as a CSV: email required; name, phone, tags and lifecycle stage optional; existing contacts matched by email. The import page has a sample file.
- 6Fill it in three times, once per ending, then publish: share the link, or embed inline or behind a button. For a paid ending, stop at the checkout page or switch on test mode under Settings, Payments.
Who should stay on Typeform, and what you give up if you move
Stay under the Free cap with no payment or call to take, and Typeform costs nothing; Webinly is not free. Stay for Salesforce, SMS follow-ups or multi-language forms, on Growth Flow at $379 a month, or SSO and HIPAA on Enterprise. Count your people, too: five users share one Business plan at $129; Webinly's Starter is just you, Pro three people at $159, Scale ten, extra people $19 a month on Pro and Scale.
Typeform is also the cheaper way to remove branding when a form is all you need: Plus does it at $79; Webinly's badge goes on Pro at $159, which also goes live and carries your own domain. You also give up calendar sync beyond Google Calendar and instalments on a form payment.
What does it cost at your size?
At 100 responses a month both tools charge $39: Typeform Basic, or Webinly Starter, which also runs an automated webinar. At 1,000, Typeform moves to Plus at $79, or $56 billed yearly, and Webinly stays at $39, or $32.50 yearly. At 10,000, Typeform is Business at $129; the Webinly plan is still set by webinars and live minutes.
Over a year, Plus billed yearly is 12 times $56, which is $672; Starter is $390. It flips on people: three users on Typeform Plus are $79 a month, three people on Webinly are $159 on Pro. The whole ladder, yearly bills included, is in Typeform pricing in 2026.
Frequently asked
Is there a free alternative to Typeform?
Webinly is not free. Your first plan is $1 today and the plan price, $39 on Starter, 7 days later, with one webinar and up to 50 registrations between; cancel inside those days and nothing more is charged. Typeform's Free plan has limited responses.
What is the cheapest Typeform alternative that takes payments?
Webinly Starter, at $39 a month or $390 a year, has a form builder whose ending takes a payment on Stripe or Tap, one fixed-price item per charge. Typeform's pricing page lists a Stripe payment question but not which plan includes it.
Does Webinly cap responses?
Its plan table lists no response cap. What changes between plans is webinars, evergreen viewers, live minutes, co-hosts and branding; registrants are unlimited and forms come with every plan. The 7 days of a first plan allow one webinar with up to 50 registrations.
Can I import my Typeform forms?
No. Webinly has no Typeform connection, so each form is rebuilt in the builder, in an afternoon. Contacts come across as a CSV: email is required, name, phone, tags and lifecycle stage are optional, and the import page has a sample file.
Does it remove the branding?
On Pro, at $159, and on Scale. Starter shows a Webinly badge, and booking pages carry a Scheduling powered by Webinly line on every plan. Typeform removes its branding from Plus at $79 and puts custom domains on Enterprise; Webinly's come with Pro.
Can the form book a call?
Yes. An ending opens your booking page prefilled with name and email, in the visitor's time zone; calendar sync is Google Calendar only. Confirmation, reminders one day and one hour before and a reschedule link follow; the call becomes a deal on the contact.
Rebuild your busiest Typeform form in Webinly this afternoon, payment or booking included. Your first plan is $1 today and the plan price 7 days later, cancel any time.
